Kuruman Christian Academy High School is located in Kuruman. The school started in February 1998 with 9 learners and 7 staff members. At first Kuruman Christian Academy occupied "Gefco" building next to the Industrial area of Kuruman. However, as demand for office space in Kuruman it resulted in the building being sold to private developer. This resulted in the school being forced to vacate the building and finding alternative learning space.
The leadership managed to find alternative building to continue the good work and that would allow for more learners to be enrolled. In 2000 they managed to finalise all papers. The school was on the ACE system for many years and we believed it was successful but due to financial reasons and learners best interest the school shifted over to NSC.
In 2011, the leadership if the school together with the School governing Body decided to change the curriculum of the NCS which will be beneficial to learners. In 2012 we started off with the new curriculum and we had 344 learners at our school and 49 staff members at our school. We have 23 teachers and 4 teachers assistants.
To date the school has grown to 455 learners with 33 educators. We also introduced a nursery at our school (6 months -2years). When we were on the ACE curriculum the school was awarded with Silver Star status.
