Flamboyant School High School is located in White River. Flamboyant is an independent school which aims to be the centre of remedial education in Mpumalanga, offering a highly specialised service.

At Flamboyant we aim to assist pupils to realise their full potential in a well structured, caring environment. We aspire to overcome the barriers of learning difficulties, enabling each individual child to become a productive member of society.

Flamboyant School has been in existence since 1985 and was started in response to the need for remedial education in the Lowveld. Flamboyant operates within a non-discriminatory, Christian ethos which we aspire to provide every pupil with the opportunities and skills to achieve to their full potential.

We follow a mainstream curriculum with the view to returning pupils to mainstream schools where appropriate.
We cater for pupils from Grade 1 to Grade 9 who are of average to above average intellect and who have barriers to effective learning as mentioned below. Parallel medium English and Afrikaans classes are offered.

Flamboyant School is an independent school with full membership of Independent Schools' Association of Southern Africa (ISASA) and Southern African Heads of Independent Schools Association (SAHISA).
