Hopefield High School is located in Hopefield. Hopefield High School is a dual medium, co-ed "government" school serving 725 learners from Grade R to 12. Since 1855, learners from the entire West Coast (Hopefield, Langebaan, Langebaanweg, Saldanha, Vredenburg, St Helena Bay & Velddrif), have been attending HSH. This is made possible by HSH's excellent bus service and affordable hostels for boys and girls right near the school.

Our subject choices vary from the purely academical, to the practical enabling many possible careers. We offer a range of cultural activities, we excel at Eisteddfods and we offer exceptional music tuition. Many of our students have earned Provincial Colours and beyond in sport and we continue to expand on these achievements. HSH offers an excellent bus service and affordable hostels for boys and girls, respectively, close to the school. We are proud of our solid history and we are going places!
