There are about 30 learners in each class. We are part of the Foundation's foundation phase. Gr. R learners get to know the school and their teachers well and are easily at home in the “big” school. The five dedicated teachers are fully qualified.

Our Gr. R pupils are fully part of Thabazimbi Primary School in activities such as computer class, athletics, Eisteddfod, chess, cash register fun and fundraising projects. The girls are taught netball and hockey skills.
