Oxford International School Primary School is located in Harding. Founded in year 2000 by Mr. Ernest Agyeman-Duah, the Director of the school. Mr Ernest Agyeman-Duah is a Professional Educator and holds an Honours degree from the University of South Africa and a Masters degree in Economic Policy from the University of Stellenbosch.
Since 2000 it has consistently achieved excellent results in the Senior Certificate Examinations and is among the best schools in the Ugu District. In 2005 it was the best school in the Ugu District in terms of the senior certificate examinations as it achieved a 100% pass rate. It has since 2005 achieved an average pass rate of 98% in the National Senior Certificate Examinations. The school uses English as the medium of instruction but offers IsiZulu and IsiXhosa as Home or First Additional languages.
The tuition offered is supplemented by computer programmes and Learning Channel DVDs. It has hostel facilities for both boys and girls. It educates its students using Christian principles and has Pastors and Chaplains who give spiritual support and advice to students.
It offers almost all the subjects that are approved Learning Areas for the Department of Education, but there is a special emphasis in Mathematics, Sciences, and Commerce.
