Ancyra Christian Academy High School is located in Mtunzini. Ancyra Christian Academy was established in, January 2016, in the beautiful village of Mtunzini on the North Coast of KwaZulu Natal. We have Grade RRR to Grade 8 and we are growing annually towards Grade 12. Children from Grade 2 and up do diagnostic tests in English, Afrikaans and Mathematics to determine the concepts not mastered. PACEs (workbooks) are then completed to fill the gaps for these key subjects.

We may be the new kid on the block, but the system is well established and has been used for the last thirty-five years in South Africa. We follow the Accelerated Christian Education programme (ACE). We have efficient and professional support from Accelerated Education Enterprises (AEE) based in Durban and they furnish us with all our curriculum to ensure we are compliant with the Department of Education’s requirements, which is currently CAPS. There are approximately 20 000 students currently doing the ACE curriculum in South Africa

ACE is an alternative form of teaching which opts for small classes (ratio 1:10). Children have their own space (work station) to do their written work. This is an amazing system for personal attention and assistance. The learners are taught from a young age to set realistic goals and to achieve them, which is vital for life on the whole and especially should they opt to study further at any university or college. Although learners are working at their own pace they are closely monitored to make sure they excel rather than fall behind.
