Liberty Community School is located in Bramley. Liberty Community School is a co-educational institution that was founded in 1993. At the heart of the institution’s establishment were Messrs B. Ndlovu and F. Ndlovu.

The school had humble beginnings with learner population of around 200 on modest premises in Hillbrow, along Pretorious Street. It relocated to its present-day premises on the precincts of Alexandra Township, in Kew – Johannesburg, in 1998 and has since grown in stature and size. It now boasts an average annual enrolment of 860 learners and staff establishment of 38 teaching & 12 non-teaching personnel. The school draws most of its learners from Alexandra Township.

It is registered with the Gauteng Department of Education and accredited to Umalusi. It offers the Curriculum and Assessment Policy (CAPS) in Grades 1 – 12 leading to the National Senior Certificate(NSC).

Instructional delivery in schools and subsequent success are largely determined by individual institutions’ work philosophy and culture. Parents mainly consider such factors when making choices of where to take their children for schooling regardless of whether the institutions are private or public entities. Institutions with excellent work culture, where success is a norm rather than an exception, clearly top the lists of most parents’ choices.
