Laerskool PAM Brink Pre-School is located in Springs. The establishment of PAM Brink Primary School A Dutch medium school was founded in 1915 with 133 pupils. Provision had to be made for the ever-increasing Afrikaans-speaking part of the population. On April 8, 1919, Mr PAM Brink was appointed Chief. In 1920 his school became the Afrikaans medium School of Springs. Later it was called the Dagbreek School and became the mother school of all Afrikaans schools that would come later. Dagbreek School grew tremendously and in 1934 had more than 1 300 pupils.

Schools were established, namely Werda and Geduld-Afrikaansmedium. Patience African Media School was founded on July 27, 1936. The school building was commissioned in August 1936. Mr PAM Brink was principal for 27 years. He served as councilor, mayor and chairman of the hospital board. He also led sports.His school was the first to play rugby. In 1923 he founded the first rugby club. The establishment of the Eastern Transvaal Rugby Union was largely due to him. PAM Brink Primary School is the second oldest school in Springs. The first head was Mr CG van Niekerk, who was observed for 2 quarters. Mr Zietsman accepted the post of Chief in January 1937. After 10 years Mr JJ Botha succeeded him as Chief.

During his 8-year term, the school's name was changed to PAM Brink Primary School on September 15, 1948, in honor of the father of Afrikaans medium education in Springs. After Mr Botha, Mr SL Mostert (Aug 1955) was principal for 10 years. On May 29, 1964, Ms IM Brink's wife, Mr PAM Brink, laid the cornerstone for the new school and on February 26, 1965, the Director of Education - Mr A Koen officially opened the new hall.Other heads of this school were Mr DJ Theron (5 years); Mr AFC Paul (17 Years); Mr GHP Hattingh (15 years) and currently Mr Anton Jansen van Rensburg is the head from June 2007.
