Harrismith Christian Academy High School is located in Harrismith. Harrismith Christian Academy was founded in 1998. At the establishment the school was known as "Harrismith School of the Future". In 2008 the schools name was changed to the present "Harrismith Christian Academy" Our school is registered as a non-profit organisation.

We have a pre-primary school known as "Creative Kids" which is our feeder school. We have a primary school for learners from grade I to grade 9, from grade 10 our learners have the choice of continuing with ACE or adjusting to IEB (independent Examinations Board) which is an online system which caters for students who want to pursue the National Senior Certificate. We consider all applicants and therefore would like to welcome all successful applicants to our school. We provide young people with a solid Bible based education of the highest quality.

We aim to make an impact on our student's home environments as well. The education system that we use is known as "Accelerated Christian Education" which is a learning system that was founded in the United States of America in 1970 by Drs Donald and Esther Howard. They set about developing a Biblically literalist education curriculum with Dr Howard travelling around the world to promote ACE schools.
