Grade 8­–11: This grade group can choose between Brainline’s COMPREHENSIVE and EXPRESS tuition options. COMPREHENSIVE is a fully supported learning journey with live interactive daily/weekly classes, access to subject resources and teacher support, scheduled task deadlines and test/exam dates, and access to all extracurricular and club activities.

In comparison, EXPRESS is tailored to the seasoned home educator who requires little or no support and who does not want to be bound by timelines. The EXPRESS option entails a suggested work schedule, a mid-year and end-year assessment portfolio and marking guidelines for use by parents when marking the assessments. Enrolling for the formal year-end exam to receive a Brainline-accredited report is an optional add-on.

Adult Matric: Also called COMPACT, this is an interwoven Grade 10 and 11 curriculum that delivers core content in one academic year, so that the learner can complete their Grade 12 at Brainline the following year. COMPACT is also a fully supported learning journey, with live interactive daily/weekly classes, access to subject resources and teacher support, scheduled task deadlines and test/exam dates, and access to all extracurricular and club activities. Grade 12: Achieve a National Senior Certificate via the IEB, accredited by Umalusi.

Also called Report2Go, this is a convenient and affordable option to obtain a valid Brainline-accredited year-end report. Learners enrol to write the year-end examinations, receiving access to Brainline’s subject content resources (all recorded teaching, sessions, notes, past papers, videos, etc.) for exam preparation.
